In December 2022 and January 2023, Nic has been busy offering environmental planning services for several overseas investors in NZ. The transition from a farm to a forest is a good time to establish strong green engineering structures that will help sustain a challenging climate change environment as well as supporting future harvests. Stream beds are usually protected and live debris catchers established. Native bush blocks are protected to protect and enhance the local biodiversity and foster connectivity between large habitats in the local area. A special attention is also given to historical sites that need to remain protected.
